Host : Oprah Winfrey
Guest : Jacqui Sabelido
A pretty woman named Jacqui Sabelido was a very smart and diligent student. She used to live in South America, and she migrated to Texas for college. One day, a man was drink-driving. Inadvertently, he hit the car which Jacqui was in. She was heavily burnt. After that accident, she had a face like the back end of a bus. She was handicapped. No one wanted to pay his or her respects to her. Yet, she kept her chin up. She was confident behind her awful appearance. Her thought that every cloud has a silver lining made her forgave the man who hit her. Here was her inner beauty.
The topic of this talk show is dramatic, spellbinding and stimulating. It reminded me that we cannot judge a book by its cover. We must be responsible for everything we do. Be optimistic, be confident in yourselves and always be grateful for everything God has given to you.
On the other hand, some picture could disturb children. Children might be terrified when they see Jacqui's appearance. I, myself, could not even sleep like a log at the night after I watched this talk show because Jacqui's face kept giving me the creeps.
However, Oprah brought the show very well. The audiences were following the show, the studio's feature was complete, the video was interesting and the atmosphere of the studio was in tune with the show.
I recommend adolescents and adults watch this episode. I particularly recommend this show to the handicapped and drinkers in order to encourage the handicapped to keep up their spirit and remind drinkers not to drive by their selves when they are drunk. For children, please do not watch this episode, because this is not an underage show, and some pictures could cause some bad effects to children. Do not watch this show if you have some mental illness.
